Seed Crew Foreman

We are looking to add a full-time seed crew foreman to work on large commercial seeding projects. This position does require occasional out-of-town travel and stay.
Our office is located in Bellefontaine, OH, and all applicants must live in Bellefontaine or in a nearby area of Ohio such as West Liberty, De Graff, Logansville, Walnut Grove, or East Liberty.
What You’ll Do as a Seed Crew Foreman:
- Prep the ground to prepare the areas for seeding
- Seed and fertilize the areas and, if straw is required, blow straw to cover the newly seeded ground
- Complete jobs mainly in central Ohio but occasionally travel to other parts of the state
- Take responsibility for the equipment, work production, and crew members assigned to you
- Ensure work gets done safely, efficiently, and with quality
- Work side by side with crew members
- Report to the production manager
In Order To Qualify for Our Seed Crew Foreman Position, You Must:
- Have at least 1 year of experience as a crew leader or similar industry experience
- Hold a clean driver’s license
- Be able to drive the company vehicle and operate various types of equipment and machinery, such as large skid steers and medium-sized tractors
- Be able to operate a smartphone and software used to track time, materials, and daily work activities
- Be willing to travel and stay out of town as required
- Be able to work overtime, extended shifts, and on Saturdays as needed
- Be able to work outdoors in extreme conditions
- Pass a drug test and a background test
- Have great communication and problem-solving skills
Compensation & Benefits:
- $25-$30/hr, depending on experience
- Earning potential of $55-$70k+ per year
